The only way Israel will defeat Iran is by taking action on its own. Let me be specific. It appears that no other nation is worthy of such posturing. Israel can NOT depend on anyone except G-d at this coordinate of strategic interplay: especially the USA, who is long on words and short on substance because of its leadership (not its people).
ISRAEL'S UNMANNED NAVAL STEALTH CRAFT - NEW SEA WEAPON
"Protector SV" - the Death Shark - is the first unmanned stealth craft on the seas. Israel is using it in the Persian Gulf and it will be a KEY asset in protection from missile attacks in the Mediterranean. It also can cruise off the shores of Lebanon, Syria and Iran for long periods of time without detection.

IRAN, SYRIA, AND LEBANON
Iran has been divided into 31 military districts in preparation for war with Israel and potentially the USA. Each of the 31 military districts will be governed by military law in time of attack. Check this out: 320,000 graves have been dug . Iran says they are for any enemy soldiers who die on Iranian soil while trying to attack Iran. However, since the graves are primarily in border regions, they are there for the Iranian victims of an attack by Israel and/or USA.
Remember, Damascus is … and has been for years … sanctuary for the headquarters of the most extreme Palestinian terrorist groups. Not to mention the fact that last September Israel bombed Syrian facilities to produce fuel for Iran’s nuclear weapons program.The UN Goldstone report is a psychological warfare weapon by Israel's enemies to detract Israel from attacking Iran.
I told you in August, 2008, NOT be deceived by (then) current peace talks by Olmert and Assad. At that time Obama and US wanted to force Israel into negotiations with Damascus. IRAN'S NUCLEAR CAPABILITY AND MUSLIM ESCHATOLOGY
I told you in August, 2008, that Israeli tactical advantage of space expertise may soon be seriously - potentially - challenged by Iran.
As proof of this, Tuesday, February 3, 2009, Iran launched a 2 stage rocket named Safir (message) carrying their first satellite named Omid (hope). What people do NOT realize is that the leaders of Iran (called "12ers") believe the "message of hope" will enable them to conduct mass destruction. They believe the 12th imam (the Mahdi) who is the Islamic "messiah" can not return until they hasten the conditions for his return by mass bloodshed and terrorism. They want to destroy the little satan (Israel) and the big satan (USA) completely.
Iran now has the capability to produce a nuclear weapon. Secret intel reveals it now has warhead capability. The major reason Iran is not attacking Israel right now is to give Iran TIME to produce several bombs first. A secondary reason is as a key bargaining chip with the USA. Iran knows the new President has NO military background and is without experience in war strategy or military diplomacy. Iran feels the new USA President is weak and will easily be dissuaded with rhetoric, using his Muslim upbringing as a tool on the chessboard.
If Iran can gain both time and privilege it will be a bonus toward their efforts. Iranian leadership under the visible 52 year old leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad figjures this way: After using the new USA President (who is 47), and after gaining hard assets and other desirables earned by diplomacy, Iran will then be in even a better position to attack Israel. If, however, no advantageous benefits are to be realized, Iran can still attack Israel, all the while having created a situation of non-apprehension while making more bombs. WARNING: Iran is slowing down production of Shahab 3 missiles in favor of the Sejil II. It is powered by solid fuel and can only be detected by satellites and early warning systems in the Negev after it is ariborne. It also has a more accurate two stage 2,000 km range. If Iran fires a mass assault on Israel of a score of Shahab 3's and a few Sejil 2's, Israel's Arrow missile interceptor will only be able to stop a few of them. The rest will hit their targets! Israel, attack Iran NOW!
RUSSIA AND ISRAEL: THE ECONOMY.
The recent financial crisis brought Russia down. Russia is in need of cash. Russia is coming to Iran offering anything (technology, training, arms, and nuclear help) for cash. Russia has completed their naval base in Syria with 30 warships a few KM from Israel and eliminated Syria's debt to them. Russia wants access for oil to the Mediterranean from the Caspian sea.

It is an unstable time in geo-politics. WHY would Russia bother to attack Israel? Not for oil! It is because of the land positioning between Asia, Europe, and Africa. Israel is a potential thoroughfare for transport of oil.

The year 2009 will appear to have everything in good shape; but then, I predict that by the Fall of 2010, a great economic downturn will happen. After that, a second factor - ENERGY - will reshape the landscape and later will bring about a total economic collapse. The USD and the Euro will eventually fail. The Obama stimulus package will NOT be effective past 2009 (at the latest mid 2010). By the Fall of 2010, if not before, things will start to fall apart again. A new global currency will evolve with basis on precious metals, commodities, or real estate. PREPARE and PRAY!
